Our Story

We got tired of batting cages that felt like tryouts.

Every other facility in town felt clique-y and intense — like you needed a travel-ball resume just to rent a cage. So we built the opposite: a place where a beginner and a former college pitcher can hit next to each other, order a pizza, and have a genuinely good time. No pressure, no attitude.

You can absolutely come train. Our Hittrax and Trackman technology gives real feedback for players who are serious about their swing. But you can just as easily come for a birthday party, a work happy hour, or a first date that involves softball and a cold beer. That welcome-everyone philosophy is the whole brand — and it's exactly what we hand you when you franchise with us.

Meet The Founder

Andrew Roginski

CEO & Founder

"More Than a Batting Cage."

Andrew Roginski supports franchisees by helping them build welcoming, community-driven training environments that appeal to athletes of all levels. He brings a customer-first mindset focused on accessibility, inclusivity, and creating a unique experience that blends performance training with a social atmosphere. Andrew guides franchisees in developing facilities that are both functional and engaging, helping differentiate the brand in the market.

Andrew created Hitters to be "More Than a Batting Cage," a modern and approachable alternative to traditional, often unwelcoming batting cage environments. He developed the concept after recognizing a gap in the market for inclusive, community-oriented training spaces. His hands-on experience launching and operating the first location alongside his father laid the foundation for the brand's vision and growth.

Andrew also owned and operated Summit Studios 509 and served as a firefighter with the Spokane City Fire Department, where he spent over a decade in public service and rose to the rank of Lieutenant. His career reflected a strong commitment to discipline, leadership, and community impact. Earlier in life, he played baseball through high school and into college, which helped shape his passion for the sport and ultimately inspired his entrepreneurial journey.

Andrew's motivation for launching the business stemmed from a personal experience at a local batting cage. He wanted to create a space with a welcoming atmosphere and flexible options for everyday players, couples on date night, and families. That moment sparked the idea to build something better — an inclusive space where players of all ages could train, connect, and enjoy the experience.

Our Philosophy

Core Values

The principles every Hitters location is built on — and what we look for in the owners who carry them forward.

01

Service Before Self

We believe we were put on this earth to serve others. Whether it's our guests, employees, or community, our mission is to lead with humility, generosity, and a heart for helping.

02

Create a Welcoming Space for Everyone

Hitters is intentionally non-cliquey, inclusive, and approachable. We exist for date nights, birthday parties, bachelor parties, first-timers, and lifelong players alike. Everyone belongs here.

03

Hard Work with Purpose

We show up every day with grit, focus, and a desire to improve. Excellence is never accidental — it's earned through effort, discipline, and passion.

04

Drama-Free Culture

We don't entertain gossip, ego, or unnecessary conflict. Respect, maturity, and professionalism are expected from every team member — because great things happen when energy goes into solutions, not problems.

05

Customer-Centered Mindset

Our guests are at the center of everything we do. We strive to exceed expectations with every interaction, and we treat every visit as an opportunity to make someone's day better.

06

Mentorship and Growth

We lead by example and invest in the next generation. Franchisees and team leaders are expected to mentor, guide, and share wisdom — while also remaining open to learning from others at every stage.

07

Faith-Driven Integrity

We believe we are called by God to make this world better through the way we lead, serve, and treat others. This business is not just about profit — it's about purpose.

08

Legacy Leadership

Hitters is built to last. We aim to create something that continues to grow and inspire long after we're gone — by developing future leaders and building a culture rooted in values.

Questions, Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Hitters ideal for owner operators or executive owners?

Perfectly fair to ask this. We're hoping this is a place you want to spend your time, too. We see a better fit if you are an active owner, involved even if you hire a manager for back-of-house or day-to-day operational needs. Franchise owners can be more hands-off on daily tasks but should spend the time to build a loyal following and focus on financial performance, marketing, and community engagement. Learn More

Can I own more than one Hitters sports bar?

Yes. We believe some owners will operate multiple units. We offer discounts on initial franchise fees for owners who commit up front to more than one Hitters franchise. Inquire Today

How much real estate and square footage is needed for a Hitters?

Between 10,000 and 13,000 square feet of space for the average Hitters sports bar — this allows for the batting cage and practice areas, bar, lounge/seating areas, kitchen, retail space, and back-of-house areas including storage and restrooms. Your venue should be easily accessed and have adequate parking for guests and visitors. We have drive-by traffic minimums and other real estate criteria that will help you evaluate the right space for your Hitters franchise. This site criteria is designed to help focus your search efforts for the ideal real estate for your Hitters location. Learn More

How long does it take to open?

The target timeline to open is no more than 12 months after signing on as a Hitters franchise owner. Time to open can depend on factors like site selection and fit-out of the space, with ample time for pre-opening steps and our required training. Learn More

How many employees are needed to operate the various areas in a typical Hitters sports bar?

Surprisingly few! In our founding locations, we typically have 2 to 4 employees per shift. The team is made up of a combination of full-time and part-time staff and can vary during the time of day, or day of the week. The good news is that people enjoy working at Hitters. Learn More

What are the startup costs and what do they include?

See our Investment Table. Startup funding includes the initial franchise fee and other estimated costs such as 3rd party professional fees, insurance, equipment, furniture, initial marketing, and 3 months of working capital.

Am I financially qualified?

Use our third-party financial pre-qualifier to get a quick read on where you stand before diving into the full application.

How much will the business make in a year?

We will be able to share our Financial Performance Representation, called an Item 19, in our Franchise Disclosure Document, which highlights affiliate performance and history. This can be a useful tool to help you evaluate the revenue potential of your individual business. Inquire Today
